God provided us with safe travels on Tuesday and Wednesday and the safe arrival of our luggage. The beginning of this week we have been blessed with the opportunity to help out at a VBS at Agape Church in Oradea, Romania. There were around 65 kids that attended the first day of VBS. It was so impactful watching the kids sing and dance, listening to the message, playing games, discussing the message, and making crafts. Thursday night God gave us an opportunity to connect with some amazing women in the community at a women’s event at Danni Bagosi’s church. Several of the women present were the mothers of kids who attended VBS in the morning. We had a wonderful time worshiping and talking with the women along with making crafts. The worship team at the church even surprised us by learning an English song so we could hear them sing in our language. It was beautiful to worship with them in Romanian and English. What a gift that was for us!
Friday afternoon, God provided us with an opportunity to meet and worship with a Roma village. They were very friendly and happy! We enjoyed a craft, sang a few songs, and treated them to a snack. It filled our hearts with joy to receive hugs and acceptance from the sweet kids upon arrival. Later, we learned that 7 of the members of that village recently gave their life to Christ and were baptized. In the evening, we headed to Danni’s church for a prayer walk where we walked some of the nearby neighborhood and prayed over some of the houses and streets. Then, we got to experience a prayer and worship night where others joined in song and in prayers! We can definitely see the Lord at work here in Romania!
